The World Hazara Council (WHC) Law & Human Rights Committee focuses on human rights issues worldwide. The situation of human rights in Afghanistan is a topic of controversy and conflict. Although there has been some progress in the country, most citizens are victims of human rights violations. Vulnerable segments of the Afghan society are at a higher risk with most women and children and some ethnic minorities not having access to basic human rights.
The Law & Human Rights Committee has published it’s third human rights information bulletin in both English and Dari. The Dari version of the bulletin can be found on the WHC Farsi website.
In addition, this bulletin can be accessed through email. By providing us with your email address, we will be able to send you future bulletins and publications so that you can keep up-to-date with our activities. It is important to mention that your email address will be secure and will not be given to a third party.
The Law & Human Rights Committee is open to suggestions on how to improve the quality of our future bulletins. The committee is also seeking for volunteers who are passionate about human rights issues and are willing to work with us in the future. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
